August already?

Here is my question: Where has the summer gone? Yes, technically I know that it is still summer but it feels like it is over since Gia starts school in ten days. I am so sad to see her go back. I love having her home and getting to spend time with her. She is a tremendous help with the boys and, plus, she is lots of fun.

I guess we have had a pretty good summer. We haven't gone anywhere exciting because of the price of gas. But, we have had a great "staycation." Here are some of the things the family has done:
1. Gia has learned to swim really well and she is also diving off of the high and low diving boards.
2. Gia had her first sleepover and she also had her friend over to stay the night here.
3. The boys are talking about everything and they have learned all of their colors and how to count to ten (with Sissy's help, of course).
4. Mommy has had two job offers outside of home and has continued to take steps toward getting her daycare license.
5. Everybody has been trying to eat more healthy this summer.
6. Even the cat has gone through changes and we now have six little kittens living with us!
